Just a short post for my friends at
the Barn Charm meme. I am hoping to venture out this week to get some Mid-Michigan winter landscapes which will of course feature a few fresh barn pictures. In the mean time lets reminisce back to last summer and check out some structures featuring cobblestone. The classic red barn speaks for itself still standing straight and tall. This ramshackled little bungalow is radiant as its stoney paint by numbers exterior reflects the late summer sun.
Happy New Year Barn Charm!
Love the cobblestone house.!..it has lots of charm
ReplyDeleteIt must take forever to build with cobblestones but it sure is pretty!
ReplyDeletebig fan of that cobblestone...very nice. Also, love your header shot..he's nice and wrapped up in that leaf. very cute.
ReplyDeleteHow cool would it be to explore that property... Very cool! =)
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky to have interesting buildings to post. Good Photos, Boom & Gary.
ReplyDeleteI love your pics, Springman. I grew up on cobblestones, walking of course - not so great, particularly as teenager with high heels, but they look terrific on houses. In fact you inspired me to take some photos of a cobblestone house in Brattleboro...
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love seeing old barns and buildings like these.
ReplyDeleteGoogle images of Norfolk UK. Some brilliant old cobbled buildings in a lovely part of Britain.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for your kind words. I am very excited about exploring some more of the cobblestone structures here and around the middle of the mitten Michigan. I'm thinking about doing a series of them. Sort of like an E-coffee table book. Maybe I could knock on doors and get a few good stories. It would be a labor of love!
